Are you a class 2 kayaker looking to progress your skills? Here at Pure Land Expeditions, we are proud of our kayak classes. Our guests new to paddle sport in the Himalayas learn how to read and run white water, while developing safety and rescue skills. Here in Nepal and India you will find a real range of world class water in some of the most beautiful locations in the world.
This expedition based course will take you to the next level. Featuring River Skills, Rescue Scenarios and an element of First Aid training. During this unique class 2 to class 4 month long expedition in the Himalayas, you will progress from the basics, running class 2 to choosing and evaluating your own lines on class 4. This experiential learning package, featuring industry leading coach to guest ratio’s, is inclusive of all hotels, resorts, expedition equipment and transport. We use modern kayaks and equipment throughout the course, enabling you to find the right boat and kit for you as your ability and technique increases. If you are currently a class 2 paddler who wants to be able to run class 4 rivers with confidence and safety, this is definitely the course for you. From big volume to alpine style creeking, the Himalayas has it all. Learn how to approach and run different kinds of water alongside internationally renowned whitewater kayaker and author Darren Clarkson-King.
