Vikram was happy and content to surf the wave. He had paddled hard. He knew it was all soon over and he would be on the road again. Vikram had enjoyed paddling with the guys and girls from Spain, he also enjoyed the jokes from the English guys. The rivers were flowing fast and live had many more adventures.
Our Indian multi river kayak journey takes us on some wild and crazy rivers – the Mandakini and Alaknanda are obvious choices with the Pindar showing some classic routes along with the Ganges and Bhagirathi, As always it includes all expedition food, hotels and logistics from Delhi. We suggest the following rivers make an excellent combo – Mandakini, Pindar, Ganges and Alaknanda. For this expedition we are partnered with our hosts along the Ganga, at Silver Sands and Shivanandi Lodge just out from Rishikesh. All rivers are class 3/4/4+.
We run this for small groups only with a suggested trip length of 16 days, We offer a flexi schedule and will gauge your ability on the Ganga during your first few days. We allow time for rest and sight seeing, especially Laxman Jhula and Swarg Ashram – For more experienced we can offer Classic Tons and Upper Pindar expeditions along with Alaknanda, Mandakni 3-4, Bhagirati (4), Rupin/Supin (4/5) as ability dictates. We have both private and local transport depending on which rivers some trips are single days and others multi day. For the latter stay in lodges, safari camps and self support style – it makes a great 2 weeks –
1:1 or more, after 4 pax extra guide. Cost includes, all logistics,
collection/drop in Delhi, all hotels, lodges etc. Pemits, expedition
food, Hotels as B/B. Free boat hire – selected range.
