Kerala, Gods own country, India

Kerala is fast becoming the new paddling Mecca of India if not the world. Clear rivers, jungle classic style slides, boofs, playholes and much more. Every monsoon Kerala hosts the Malabar River Festival and this brings international paddlers to compete in this amazing playground. In 2014 we held our first intermediate workshops in the region and are now proud to be able to offer longer trips.

Pure Land Expeditions are pleased to announce that from 2015 we will be offering bespoke private trips for intermediate class 3-4 paddlers along with advanced class 4-5 runs seeking first descents and running harder lines. Our tours include hotel stay with breakfast, private transport, guides and coaching. We will have a fleet of hire kayaks available for those that do not wish to travel with a boat, (charges apply). These include Nomad, Karnali, Diesel along with playboats.

The tour will be based in Kodenchery and we will offer free transfers Calicut airport or train station.

Kerala has a wide selection of rivers, some exploring trips and some road side. We will design the daily schedule in relation to the water levels and group.

Private groups min 4 max 6 intermediate and advanced, all river sections are variable due to rain and the schedule given at time of booking is only a basis, we will adjust the schedule in accordance with the flows and group. We have no set dates as we only run this for private groups. Our hotel stay is based on two sharing with single occupancy supplement available.

Schedules are 12 days – day 1 is arrival in Calicut day 12 is the end of the trip – additional days can be booked. We can answer any questions to make this trip personal and unique.
